Each mouse we sell is hand made and usually takes 2-3 days to ship. During periods of high demand, this can increase, sometimes a week. All orders are shipped with tracking.

While the mouse polls in realtime, the dongle is limited to reporting at 1kHz to your PC. Inputs are packaged losslessly into each poll so your aim is smooth at the lowest latency possible, though polling tests will show 1,000Hz. Our dongle with a 8K reporting rate is awaiting certification. Existing customers will get a steep discount once we release it.

Manufacturing

Our carbon fiber fabric & resin systems are sourced in the UK and we manufacture everything in house.

The electronics & software are entirely custom designed & developed by us. We source electronic parts globally, primarily from the USA, South Korea, China, and Taiwan. Each circuit board is assembled by hand and thoroughly tested before shipment.

The Hafif is designed and made by both of our co-founders. Noah, who used to be top 27 in Valorant EUW & Faceit lvl 10 in CS:GO, and Deniz, Supreme / GE in CS:2 and a technical background in deep learning. We set out to make the perfect gaming mouse with a premium material, no-compromise electronics, low latency firmware, and of course, with the lowest weight possible.

We source our fabric & resin systems from a company with clients in the aerospace & defence industry. Each shell is hand made in our workshop.

Advanced PCB & Electronics


Unlike most other mice on the market, we developed the hafif with performance as the top priority above all else.

The firmware is simple and minimal to maximise performance. To reduce wireless latency and power consumption, only the bare minimum is transmitted with an estimated mouse to donlge latency of just 40 microseconds (0.04ms).

The mouse internally does not have a set polling rate, rather it gathers information from the sensor in realtime as movement happens, with a sensor to MCU latency of just 188 nano seconds (0.000188ms).

To improve wireless signal integrity, the PCB features a copper filled grounding layer and the MCU modules feature a shielding cap.

The carbon fiber monocoque helps achieve a total weight of 35g ±2 without holes, providing a comfortable and effortless experience.

Every mouse is hand made in our workshop. Our team of 3 spends hours in PPE working with the material for every unit.

The process involves laying, vacuum bagging, curing, demoulding, machining the base and the buttons, before spraying the matte coating and mating with the base plate using a structural 2 part exposy resin.

Unprocessed Finish For the Lightest Weight Possible

Aligned with our performance above all else mission, we leave the surface untreated which saves around 3-5g of weight.

While the surface imperfections are an aesthetics sacrifice, they are not noticible while gaming.

If aesthetics is important to you, then the Hafif is not for you.
